Description
ICDT saw the potential of a dilapidated '90s chalet located atop a quiet mountain road and transformed it into an airy, 1200 square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home. The original footprint was expanded to create a larger kitchen and four dormers were added to the steep roofline to maximize usable space.
The layout was completely reimagined, turning the stairs ninety degrees and relocating the front door to create a clear and welcoming entrance. All-new electrical, plumbing, heating, windows and doors were installed, and a double story window wall was added to take full advantage of the site’s breathtaking views. Overall, ninety percent of the existing structure was replaced to create this inviting retreat.
